I Got An Email From George Bush

Filed in National by on March 13, 2008

GOP fundraising emails defy parody.

The mission of every Republican must be to keep the White House and retake the U.S. House and Senate. We must elect a new Republican president in order to defend America and extend our nation’s prosperity.

A Democrat victory in November would turn back the clock on all that we have accomplished to strengthen our national security, grow our economy and improve our schools.

[Reader shakes head & rubs eyes]

Jason, our Party must win the 2008 elections to ensure the continued prosperity and security of our nation. I urge you to give as generously as you can.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush

Based on the wording, if the economy sucks right after the election, its because we didn’t elect a Republican?

  2. cassandra_m says:

The legendary ineptitude of BushCo extends to not even negotiating the appropriate kickbacks of taxpayer largesse from Halliburton and Blackwater.

    Go figure.

Why don’t the sacred, little draft-dodging poonannie just come out and say “Y’ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!”

SFTU, George. You have the credibility of Joe Isuzu.

Oh, my. You get that junk too?

If you put something in the business reply envelope and send it back, it will cost them $1.11 (postage plus $.70) to receive it.

Just don’t send it back empty and don’t try taping it to a brick or something like that, because the post office might not deliver it.

That’s $1.11 they won’t have left over in November.

  5. Frank says:

Whoops! I missed that it was an email. Change your email address and get on their snail-mail list.

Email is free, or at least cheap. Snail-mail costs.

  6. R Smitty says:

I saw it in my inbox and then saw it directed to Junk Mail and then to oblivion…all without opening it. Hell, I won’t even read what you put in the post, that’s what I think of him.

Did he happen to mention his great economics and the recently discovered $4/gal gas in Delaware?

Hey, the Military Industrial Complex and the Oil companies got real rich. Who cares about the middle class?
