White House Turkey Pardon

    Not only was the turkey given a pardon, but the Attorney General is launching an investigation into charges that the turkey was mistreated while in captivity, and the President has ordered that the turkey detention facility be closed by 2011.

    In a surprise move, the Attorney General has decided that all claims of war acts committed by the turkey will be tried in Federal Court. This is seen as a slap in the face to the Bush Administration, and has caused outrage amongst both of the remaining members of the ‘inner-core’ GOP.
