I read this earlier, and all I could think was WTF are the people running the Clinton campaign thinking. Then it dawned on me. They aren’t thinking… at least not long term. That story was for Ohio – a state which has repeatedly voted against its self-interest and I predict will do the same this November: “We don’t have jobs, but at least we stopped gay marriage” state.
Team Clinton cannot think ahead, and so far it’s played to their advantage. Which, in the end, is really what scares me. She’s getting a free pass from Republicans – notice the Silence?? – but you can bet they’re filing all this away if she wins the nomination.
It blows me away that with all of the health care horror stories that really are out there, they feel as though they need to make something up.
We’ve had more than 7 years of this — leadership that will just say anything and dare you to call him on it — and I just don’t see how they think that this is a winning strategy.
And then, of course, there is Mark Penn off meeting with his client, the Columbians on getting a trade deal that Hillary tells folks she is not in favor of.
Crazy.
