SuperDelegate Carper Gives Himself an “out” to Vote For Clinton

Filed in National by on April 21, 2008

Today’s News Journal cracked me up.

“As a neighbor to Pennsylvania, that result will not be lost on me.” he said. “If Barack end up winning there and runs the table on other state primaries, that’s going to have, I think, a strong impact on a number of super delegates.”

So if Clinton wins in PA OR ANY OF THE REMAINING STATES he is voting for her. What a fraud this guy is.

TC knows full well that Clinton I favored in PA, and anyway – shouldn’t DELAWARE’S results not be “lost on” him?

Is it me or is this guy just a transparent loser?

He’s been a disappointment on everything he’s done since giving Gene Reed Sr. and Danny Rappa a ride out of town on a rail. This ought to be the last straw for progressives — he’s not one of you. He’s a DLC Democrat, which, like Hillary, is cutting edge — if you’re living in 1992.

I just got a robocall from Bill Clinton – to my 302 number in Delaware – urging me to attend Hillary’s rally in Philadelphia. Is that desperate or what?

Oh and yes – Carper is a transparent loser.

  3. Heh, ditto for me, anony, on my answering device. I saved the call for posterity. Too bad I can’t throw darts at it.

  4. Pandora says:

Well, a lot of people think DE is a suburb of PA… I just hoped a DE Senator would know better.

I received this voicemail from Bill last night, inviting me to her rally. Shouldn’t it be strange that I am on their list — not because I live close by, but because I live in a state that has already voted AND I already voted for Obama? You’d think that their vaunted number crunching would be way better than that.

  8. William R says:

I note a common occurrence here – calls seem to have gone only to people who complain a lot.

  9. X Stryker says:

Whereas the Obama campaign is inviting us to do something useful and phonebank for Obama, instead of asking us to make the crowd look bigger at a PA Hillary rally. From day 1 this has been a Smart campaign vs. a Maxwell Smart campaign.

Like Ted Blunt Torturin’ Tom is an empty suit…Delaware will soon build a giant closet in which to hang the elected empty suits.

They are both creepy but TT is considerable more dangerous to democracy and the ideals of the Democrat Party. Teddy boy just wants to look pretty and put his hand out…..

  12. Campaigner, rumor has it that you accept food stamps etc. Ought not throw stones…

  13. Campaigner says:

NW….FU and your rumor mill. I never ‘drained’ my Momma for $$$ like you….even after your siblings got totally pissed off at you for hitting the ‘Willing Family Welfare Fun” way too often.

I see you posted at 4:31 AM…..still up tossing ’em down??? Get some rest…especially your nasty mouth, girl.
