Who is Contacting Me? Gate Crasher – Michelle Rollins, That’s Who

Filed in National by on July 22, 2010

Rollins has nice signage. She also has a nice location on the corner of Rt13 just off the Rt 1 exit for north Smyrna. Too bad her campaign is dead in the water.

Whatever slim chance she had against Carney is being murdered by the wingnuts that congregate around WGMD like flies buzzing around a piece of Bill Colley.

I like primaries, but this “Great Conservative Freak Out” engineered by Urquhart (sp?) and Colley stabs GOP hopes for November in the eyes. AND I LOVE IT !

I’m sure Carney will have some prime locations for signs when he calls in all of his chips from political benefactors who got sweet land deals from the Minner/Carney administration. I hear there is a Minner/Carney Monopoly game based on no bid land deals they made.

  2. Geezer says:

Nice try, Anvil. But in reality there was no “Minner/Carney” administration. The News Journal stories have pulled up years worth of emails, and there’s nothing to indicate Carney was even in the loop. That’s a dog that won’t hunt, a fish that won’t swim, a turd that won’t flush.

  3. Anvil says:

I apologize for my ignorance. Where was Mr. Carney during the eight year Aunt Bea reign of error? He was either complicit or being paid as a no-show. What are the other options?

  4. Geezer says:

The offices are separate. They are elected separately, they govern separately. Check out the daily schedules of the Gov. and Lt. Gov. sometime. They are rarely at the same place at the same time. They do not confer on policy or process. No Republican Lt. Gov. would repudiate anything done by a Republic Gov., and we both know it. Stop playing dumb.

We all know full well you display not ignorance, but a weak, transparent Del. GOP messaging. And no, I don’t accept the apology, because it’s not sincere.

  5. Joanne Christian says:

But how come John Carney wasn’t “good enough”, or “too tainted”, or a “Minner minion” to be Governor, but you folks will rally around him for representative?

  6. Geezer says:

Because being one of 435 is a lesser job than being chief executive of the state. As governor he could steer state money to cronies. Not as US Rep.

  7. Joanne Christian says:

I like your answer. Very fair. So glad it’s not because “we” support any Democrat–and the Peter Principle. Thanks.

  8. Reis says:

someone put up a big 4×8 for Rollins on my property last night.

Can someone lend me a small wrench and a shovel? (they hammered the metal posts way into the ground)

  9. Joanne Christian says:

Sure Reis–let me know where you are, and I’ll be happy to move it to my property.

  10. anon says:

Just put an ad on Craigslist for “Free plywood – you remove.”

  11. ananan says:

“No Republican Lt. Gov. would repudiate anything done by a Republic Gov., and we both know it. Stop playing dumb.”

Facts are facts. He didn’t even disagree with her on anything until 30 days before the primary. And when we have a Republican Governor as crooked and incompetent as Ruth Ann Minner, we’ll see what their LG does.

Carney was a silent accomplice, not to the crooked, but to the incompetent.

  12. wingnutless says:

I heard that every legislator at the CreepOut was wearing a Rollins sticker.

TW at DP.net just wrote that Rollins asked for a sponsorship and was told they were closed, but Bonini magically got one after that. In the relm of “Who Has The Biggest Balls” Rollins wins, you couldn’t find Urquhart’s balls with the telescope at the Mt. Cuba Observatory.

Meanwhile, Bill Colley has deemed Shawn Fink from the Caesar Rodney Institute “not conservative enough” and won’t allow him back on the air. Apparently if you refuse to speak ill of a candidate who isn’t insanely pro life, you are guilty of “infantacide.”

  13. jpconnorjr says:

For what its worth Colley is a guy who came down The PA turnpike a couple of years ago to take a third rate job at a second rate radio station. Not many of his rabid listeners are even voters.

  14. Geezer says:

    “Facts are facts.”

Indeed they are. And you don’t have any to back up the position that a Republican lt. gov. would ever call out a Republican gov. None. Doesn’t matter how many screen names you use.

  15. Geezer says:

Bill Colley is worried that if we measure life by brain activity, he’ll be declared legally dead.

  16. Jud Bennett is sending around the entire episode from the respective camps. Evidently, Colley is claiming that Shaun Fink’s troubles started when he criticized Rep. Danny Short on the air. Sussex listeners gave him a wedgie and he is still walking around with the gimp.

  17. Lady Patriot says:

Michele Rollins is a poor excuse for a candidate. Talks and talks but says nothing.

She got the nomination because Rakestraw doesn’t want to lose her queen bee position as National Committee Woman.

Rollins loses badly and Priscilla is golden.

    Blago would be proud.

  18. Anvil says:

Mike, I mean Lady Patriot, you just said on DP you’re a Delaware newbie. Pretty familiar with Prissy for a newbie?

  19. wingnutless says:

Rollins talks and talks, and still doesn’t say things like “The next time your liberal friends talk about separation of church and state, ask them why they’re Nazis.”

  20. MJ says:

Curly got one thing right in his diatribe – he’s fat. Boy is he fat. Curly is so fat that there isn’t enough scrapple in Bridgeville to satisfy him.

Curly ratings sucked, until Shaun joined on Monday afternoons. That’s the only reason people would listen on Monday. As I mentioned in another post, Curly despises the fact that he is stuck here in Sussex and has been trying his damnedest to leave. He sends out tapes of his shows weekly to other conservative talk show stations, but no one wants to listen to the poison he spews. He can always go back to Buffalo, but I don’t think anyone up there wants him (especially the station that fired him). He’s a fraud – he knows it and so do the rest of us down here.
