An Observation
Still not back in the politics mode, so…
While away on vacation I noticed something. The under 25 crowd isn’t tatooed. Their parents were tatooed, as were those over 30. Seems like this fad is fading. Unfortunately, tatoos aren’t like skinny jeans – or a Hannah Montana tee shirt – that can be tossed in the back of your closet.

A couple of years ago I had my peace sign tattoo branded with a diagonal slash, signifying: NO PEACE
Body scarring will soon be all the rage.
I’m still loving my Dexys Midnight Runners tattoo.
I would like to counter that a large portion of the under 25 (and 25-30) group I know is tattooed. Maybe I’m an outlier. All of the “teens” I see regularly(mostly 19 and younger siblings/siblings of friends) have one or more.
I avoided the trend as it lends itself to criminal identification.
How exactly did you know they don’t have tattoos?
Lots of teeny tiny bathing suits. So… if they had tattoos they weren’t prominently displayed.
Is it possible the “under 25’s” you saw were not from the US? My anecdotal experience is the opposite. In fact, the bigger and more elaborate the better, it seems.
