My daughter is planning to transfer to UDel this fall (has been accepted), but there are many balls in the air.

I will be trying for the tenth day in a row to see if I can wash the skunk smell from my longhaired dachshund here in Rising Sun, Md. If you’ve never experienced the Joy of Skunk, you are one lucky person. It truly does stink to high heaven.
May also make a trip to Newark bike shops to pick up some hot-weather gear. The country roads in Cecil County are fabulous for distance touring, we can get to Penns. in about three minutes … about an hour to Delaware … by bike, of course.

I made up a Delaware license plate similar to the NC one, but it wouldn’t get through the DL commenting system.
I know what you mean though, it’s an embarrassment of riches in North Carolina for sure.
Our latest is a butthead named Stephen LaRoque who hired an unemployed woman to do yard work at his house for one hour at $8 per hour. Heaven help us.
Saturday and Sunday are for fun.
Monday I will say a solemn rosary for my fallen comrades and all who have given their best for us to live in what was once the best country on Earth.
And may again be someday if we can throw the BLUNT-SKULLS and their minions onto the scrap-heap of History.
