Delaware Liberal Tracking Poll Results: Mitch Crane
This is no surprise: Mitch Crane is overwhelmingly popular in a DL poll. He gets a 71% approval rating, with only 23% disapproving. His only obstacle to defeating Karen Weldin Stewart is too many other opponents. Because if the race was just Mitch v. Karen, Mitch would destroy her in a Markellian landslide. But if you divide the anti-Karen vote between Vincent White, some Gallagher candidate, Dennis Spivack (what?), and Mitch Crane, then Karen wins with her measly 30% of the vote. So the question must be posed to Mr. White, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Spivack: When did McDowell pay you and how much was the check?
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Mitch Crane (D)?
Strongly Favorable — 42%
Favorable — 29%
Strongly Unfavorable — 20%
Undecided / Unsure — 6%
Unfavorable — 3%Total Votes: 115. Started: March 6, 2012
I will now poll Vincent White, Gallagher, and Dennis Spivack. I do not expect their ratings to be high.
Since Delaware is now a one party state akin to Washington DC (thanks Christine!!) , we are going to have to figure out how to NOT let this happen in the future.
The Dem primary IS the election. That helps us progressive a little – but helps mobbed up dirt-bags tremendously.
Spivak? He still hasn’t paid off his campaign debt from his ill-run 2006 race for Congress.
How scared the opponent is and how low they r willing to go shows how strong Mitch is ….and it is a backhand compliment.
It also shows that KWS and her schills r NOT concerned about what is best for Delaware…only wht is best for KWS. Proving again that Mitch is THE BEST candidate for the job.
enuf said….
Did anybody else get robocalls concerning the IC office and from which camp did it originate? I gave kws the worst rating available.
Was it the one that started out by asking if you knew who the current IC was?
Yes, Jason. “Do you think the IC is Matt Denn, KWS, or don’t know”
I can’t recall if the second question was the rating or what. When I gave a poor rating the call ended. Sadly, I learned from El Som on Al’s show that my leadership is on her re-election committee. Months ago I spoke with the secretary about having Mitch attend a meeting to speak his piece, negatory. Joe and Beau always seem welcome.
@aoine: “KWS and her schills r NOT concerned about what is best for Delaware…only wht is best for KWS. Proving again that Mitch is THE BEST candidate for the job.”
It’s her schills who do whatever is best for KWS because a) they make money when she makes money, and b) her room temperature IQ (in Celsius) keeps her from figuring it out for herself. The money just keeps on flowing, except not into her campaign fund.
I think there’s some confusion over “independent” insurance agents.
There are two types of agents: 1. Company Agents. These are employees of insurance companies-such as those you will find at a State Farm or Nationwide office.
2. Independent Agents. These do not work for a company, but they “represent” only those companies that “appoint” them. Those are companies that do not have sales offices in the state. Contrary to the moniker “independent,” they are not representing a consumer and finding the best company for that consumer among the hundreds out there. These agents are representatives of the companies who have deemed to appoint them and so notified the department of insurance in their state. They cannot fight for a consumer at the risk of losing that appointment. They are still what the legal term agent means-a representative for and acting on behalf of an insurance company. Independent Agents are part of the industry.
Sen. Bunting will be surprised to discover that he is an “employee” of State Farm. As will my personal agent here in Wilmington Ken J. Marconi, Agency Owner from Nationwide.
JP, it’s a technical differentiation between the types of insurance agents that operate in each state. Can Bunting or Marconi sell insurance for other companies?
You said “employee” now its “technical differentiation”. You are the insurance expert. Can you give an accurate description of the roles of Insurance agents? Do you have any actual examples of an Independent agent being punished for acting on behalf of a consumer? Have you researched and can you explain the specific fiduciary responsibilities of an insurance licensee in relation to the consumers they sell policies to? Rep. Short is an agency owner can you show any evidence of retaliation against him for his public actions on behalf of consumers? In short do you have the first clue of what you are talking about? But thanks for your effort to clear up confusion.
“In short do you have the first clue of what you are talking about?”
If he doesn’t, he’s even with KWS.
As usual, O’Connor is spouting off to buck up his mistress. You’re trying to make an issue over something that is perfectly understandable to the average person. But then we all know that you are below average. Give it a rest. You’re boring us.
BTW, answer the question I posed about Bunting and Marconi.
It’s Connor. The signs up and down the state on single company agencies including those I mentioned answer your question. When Rush makes direct crude comments about women he pays a price. Your coded comments are no less crude and demeaning to women. You have no idea of the fiduciary and statutory obligations an agent Licensed and regulated in Delaware has to the Consuming public. You provided zero information germaine to the discussion at hand. Tell us one impediment that agents face that stops them from properly representing the legitimate interest of a consumer?
Hey Geez… that was funny:)
What did he say that was demeaning to women — as opposed to demeaning to KWS?
JSG/JPConnor – you’ve been warned before about your sock puppetry. Use one name or risk the penalties that other sock puppets have faced.
And, as Geezer asked, what did I write that was demeaning to anyone, except maybe you?
To the other members here I apologize I used a nacu
Machine from which the name was not removed . Please note I clearly identified myself in the first line. Also note that 4 of you kne this name was me along . But thank you for your threat;)
Geez, MJ has made multiple sado masochistic references for whatever reason. If youwould like to track them do a search. Or I can for you when I have some time
Once again, you offer up nothing but innuendo and bullshit. Facts, buddy, facts or shut the hell up. There is nothing in this post where I made a “crude” comment about anyone, especially your employer. And calling KWS unqualified to hold office is not demeaning nor is it sado-masochistic. Are you sure you’re reading this blog and not some reprint of the GOP’s Guide to Treating Wives?
@ MJ: “… calling KWS unqualified to hold office is not demeaning nor is it sado-masochistic”.
You’re right, it’s neither. It’s the truth but no more than what you’d expect since KWS has no education and no work experience.
Jpconnorjr and JSG are clearly KWS’s intellectual equals.
Here is a nice option to fill your candidate’s time in Mid-September:) http://www.alaskacruiseexperts.com/alaska-cruise.asp?id=1930
JP, the confidence is wonderful and all, but what is KWS running on? What is her argument for reelection?
@DEIdealist:
Karen Weldin Stewart has no argument for reelection but plenty for her defeat and even more for not running in the first place. But she’s too stupid to withdraw and her schills like JP and JSG keep telling her she’s a shoo-in. Since she has no brain, she believes that’s the truth.
Any candidate of either party would be a vast improvement over corrupt moron KWS. JP and JSG should buy her a few clues.
