    The two row homes in the foreground are a good example of the vernacular Second Empire-type architectural style that can be seen all around the City. This style is indicative of the type of moderately-priced housing that was being built all around the City during its hey-day in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.     Thanks for that, Zafo! There is alot of architectural interest in Wilmington houses if you take the time to look. One of the most fun events that happens in my neighborhood periodically is an architectural treasure hunt. Love that link too — old houses are all that.
