    That blue and white pole is a symbol of Bavaria (the colors of the Bavarian flag). It all starts next Saturday in Munich with the Mayor tapping the first keg in Schottenhammel… O zapst is… Oktoberfest!

    I suppose this is the Saungerbund in Newark. I’ve been to both the one in Munich (twice) and the one in Newark (twice)… I prefer the one in Munich.
