Good for him. I wrote NPR for being bamboozled by this earlier today. This campaign is not suspended if your VP nominee is campaigning at Ground Zero, if you are appearing at scheduled events in the morning, and showing up on all of the network news programs at night, if you are still running ads, if your surrogates are still out lying on your behalf (on TV and radio), your offices are still open and your website is still up and taking donations and selling your tchotskes.
And it is time for the media to stop pretending that anything about the McCain campaign is suspended.
