    I can honestly say I never felt the need or tried to touch a black persons hair. Why would I? That was weird.

    @AGovernor — it definitely happens and it is plenty weird (actually, it is pretty maddening) when it does. Somehow, white people seem to think that the different hair of black people is somehow in the public domain, your personal space be damned.
