  1. RSmitty says:

Did you see the signs? I did, on Rt 1 north, between US40 and Rt273 exits.

  2. anon says:

This is the good ole boy network at work. Carney is a looser, looser looser! Send him to Congress to be another “puppet”? We citizens should be calling for a “special election”, not a hand picked puppet from the party.

  3. cassandra m says:

    What’s this about?

  4. Kilroy says:

“Carney is a looser, looser looser! ”

No he is a Minner victim, victim victim!

So what’s the percentage of Carney supporter snot voting for Markell or not at all?

  5. jason330 says:

The clueless losers at the DEGOP put up some signs telling people to write in John Carney for Governor.

  6. jason330 says:

BTW – Mike Ramone having a spaz attack on Mascitti right now.

  7. Bobby Thomson says:

Also on 141 North just before 52.

Says a lot for Republicans that they think they have to misappropriate the Democratic donkey to win. Profiles in courage, indeed.

  8. P.I. says:

    Mike Ramone is crazy!
John Carney is not a loser. John Carney is a good guy who did not win his primary. He handled his loss with dignity and class. Any shenanigan’s with signs for Carney right now have to be tied to the Republican Party. It is a pathetic to see a group of ‘christians’ act so unchristian. Ghandi had it right when he said: “I like your Christ, but not you Christians for they are so unlike your Christ.” I am so tired of the hypocracy of faith and values spewed by republicans.

  9. P.I. says:

Republicans need to learn to lose more graciously.

  10. P.I. says:

Robo calls are now going to the 21st Rep District from Mike Ramone slamming Pat Creedon. Meanwhile, he’s on the radio talking about how positive his campaign is. LIES, LIES,LIES!

  11. Unstable Isotope says:

I saw a sign today at Rt. 4/Rt. 273 intersection. I definitely think it’s a Republican dirty trick. If they can split enough votes, perhaps Lee can win by plurality. Carney is supporting Markell.

  12. Unstable Isotope says:

That’s right P.I. Carney is a nice guy who happened to lose the primary. I think he has a big future in politics still (perhaps Senate or House Rep.).

  13. RSmitty says:

BTW, Jason knows no better than anyone else who is at the root of this. Seriously, it could be a bitter group (probably small) of Carney supporters that will never vote for Markell (afterall, the primary was intense). However, Jason is potentially correct in that it may very well be an awful and stupid stunt from local GOP. Only a few people know for sure and Jason, nor I are any of them. FWIW, I am the one who tipped Jason off to this signage after seeing one. All other conclusions are for illustration purposes, which would be a first for him. 😯

  14. FSP says:

Are they telling people to write in Carney for Governor or Congress?

  15. Joanne Christian says:

I think you guys are giving the GOP too much credit for your Carney write-in ploy. Right now, we are too tired, broke and thin in the troops to take this on too. Better look to your own side, and the splinter factions fall-out that have been created. It’s not just one, big, happy family!!

  16. I Like Jack says:

Carney is a decent guy but the better man won the primary. Lee and Copeland are disasters in the making.

Lee was used and so was every GOP convention attendee. What a bunch of chimps to let Copeland shoot his wad on their collective faces.

  17. cassandra m says:

If they are bitter Carney supporters they’ve been awfully incognito for the past weeks.

Besides, the correct form for this kind of stunt should also include a warning that the police will be waiting at all polling places to arrest folks with outstanding parking tickets or who are in arrears in child support payments.

    Sheesh.

  18. Al Mascitti says:

Whoever did it is not affiliated with the Carney campaign. I got an off-air call from one of his aides shortly after mentioning this on the air.

  19. RSmitty says:

Besides, the correct form for this kind of stunt should also include a warning that the police will be waiting at all polling places to arrest folks with outstanding parking tickets or who are in arrears in child support payments.

Hmm…I think you just provided the needed proof that this was NOT a GOP operation!!! 😆

    Ahhh…self-depricating humor…

  20. MJ says:

Thing is, if Carney didn’t declare as a write-in before September 30, then the votes won’t be counted. Big waste of effort. Tom Ross must have used this for high school homecoming.

  21. Unstable Isotope says:

Yes, MJ, I think it’s a dirty trick. Any write-in votes for Carney won’t be counted because he’s not an official write-in candidate.

  22. G Rex says:

If it’s a dirty trick, at least it’s a funny one! Like telling people to be sure and vote on Wednesday, it only affects complete morons.

  23. h. says:

Unfortunately, there are many morons out there.
