Kevin Wade’s Ebola Ad: A New Low for Delaware
Really, this is just…
First off, Chris Coons never said or tweeted “Stop freaking out about America’s single Ebola death.” It was the title of an article he linked to. But deception and lies are to be expected when we are dealing with Republicans. Second, even if he did say it or tweet it, Chris Coons is right, which is why is linked to that article. There is no outbreak of Ebola in the United States, no matter how much fear mongering the media and the Republicans engage in. Indeed, this ad is an hysterical attempt to make you scared of something, and then blame Chris Coons for it. Hence the allegation that being a chairman of a sub-committee on Africa in the Senate gives Senator Coons the power to stop Ebola!
That is just rich, coming from a Republican such as Kevin Wade. Let’s pretend for a moment that being a chairman of a sub-committee on Africa did empower a Senator with God-like powers to stop a virus in its tracks. Kevin Wade, as a Republican, would not have any interest in using that power to help the people of Africa. He would cut funding for scientific research the first chance he got. Hell, he would not even consider sitting on a sub-committee on Africa.
But really, I am spending too much rebutting this fearmonger of an ad, and what we should be doing is condemning Kevin Wade. I call on Charlie Copeland and John Fluharty to condemn their candidate’s fearmongering and see to it that Mr. Wade apologizes to the people of Delaware for it.
Jesus Christ! If Wade gets five votes, that’s five stupid motherfuckers I never want to meet.
Republicans are liars from the top race, down to state rep. “Want higher gas taxes and new property taxes in Delaware?” “Out of touch politicians like Sean Matthews have supported millions of dollars in tax increases.” They refer to his being a tax-raising politician all through the mailer.
What’s wrong with that? Sean Matthews has never voted for anything in his life – he’s a school teacher – this is the first time he’s run for anything.
Wow, so much for clean friendly elections that Delaware claims they are known for.
While Smyk claims his opponent will bring DC style politics to Delaware, Wade already did.
I’m not sure which I am more annoyed by: the ad or the way they have constructed that sentence. “Why won’t Chris Coons stop Ebola as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Africa?” implies that Chris Coons is considering stopping Ebola as something else.
Perhaps Kevin Wade’s point is really that if we had elected Christine O’Donnell instead of Chris Coons, she could have used her magic broom to banish Ebola from our shores.
PS Please don’t point out my own grammatical or punctuation errors please. I am high on Heath Bars.
And now we have Barney Fife running as a write in here in Sussex with the support of old draft dodger Poopie pants Ted
Wades other commercial. Man in Chicken suit searches around Delaware for Chris Coons claiming Coons is absent from Delaware and busy in Washington cozying up to Harry Reid.
It would be funny if it were anywhere close to true.

Jesus, Republicans used to make their lies at least minimally believable. This is Delaware. A small state. We see our electeds out and about all the time at public events. Coons has been everywhere. Look at his Facebook page to verify that. And I believe, like Joe Biden, Coons comes home every night.
Not sure what is more offensive: (1) the xenophobic, narcissistic message, (2) the production quality of the video (cavemen with charcoal sticks could plan a better storyboard), or (3) Coons having to share the billing with a dinosaur-brain like Wade…
#2 is currently leading for me!
Note: “narcissistic” is in reference to the undertones of a comment like “Is Chris Coons protecting the people of Delaware?”… Granted, I’m a big fan of conspiracy, but I took that to be Wade’s, and many in the GOP’s, way of saying that a Delaware life (or an American life, in general), is worth more/is more important than someone from Africa.
At some point don’t people have to wonder how a supposedly successful business owner like Wade has all this time to run a wingnut race for office?
Kevin Wade or not Ebola as scare tactic will have a short shelf life as no deaths and few cases will come to light. I’ve already heard various fools claiming there were cases in Atlantic City, as suspected there are not. I expect the impact of Operation Ebola will prove to be nil in the coming election, hysterical far righties excepted.
