   Not to be a pedant, just a proud Wilmingtonian. (Although I have noticed errors in many Daily Delawheres lately… very sloppy!)

   The one block street in Mid Town Brandywine is Winchester Place not Winchester Pike.

   My favourite piece of public art is in this neighbourhood so I walk down there from time to time to get soul food at Evelyn’s. Check out the bronze statue called “The Apprentice”. It’s a Charles Parks…

   I love Mid-Town Brandywine! It has the feel of a Currier and Ives Christmas card. The houses on 14th Street are stunning – the view from the back of the houses overlooks the Brandywine River. Every time I visit a friend, or walk through, I get location envy!
