When Does a Governor Do Something about a Criminal Organization in it’s own State?

Filed in National by on August 27, 2015

My question is and will always be, at what point does the Governor of a State step in and do something about a company that constantly defrauds the citizens of his state? Of his country? And of the planet?

Did you get an automated call from JPMorgan Chase on your cell phone?

Allegations are the company made unsolicited robocalls to cell phones, which is illegal. Now they are settling a class action lawsuit, and you could get up to $50 back if you qualify.

Once again one of Delaware’s largest private employers has been sued, and is paying. It has broken the law, but admitted no wrong doing. When does our state’s government do something to protect us from this ongoing negligence? What recourse do they have?

What about when the Government is doing something wrong and allowing illegals into the country??

  2. liberalgeek says:

Which “illegals” did we allow into the country? The question is (and always has been) what do we do once undocumented workers are already here.

  3. SussexAnon says:

Driving without (or a suspended) license is not “undocumented driving.”

Since neither party is serious about doing anything about it, there is no sense getting worked up. How un-serious? It took Trump to make it a campaign issue.

Is that criminal organization Chase? Because I”m talking about chase. I’ll get to the illegal immigrant issue next with them…don’t worry.

so in the meanwhile, answer the fucking question trolls

For starters, I’d suggest there be some guidelines requiring that any company applying for loans or grants through DEDO’s strategic fund have a squeaky clean record of good behavior with federal and state agencies (all 50 states) for the last five years [this would include both civil and criminal matters] and that any such misbehavior occurring during the loan/grant period would be unconditional grounds for termination of the agreement and required repayment of any benefit received.

see, shouldn’t this be the sort of thing that a people in Dover work on? Not making sure I don’t get boinked, while having been heavily sedated by my hot psychotherapist?

Sorry, Donviti. I should not have spun your Chase issue. With that said; this just came out just today. So what should we do?

Glad to see this site focusing on the issues of our day, robocalls. lol

  9. Donviti says:

It’s one more illegality by an organization that has amounyed dozens of them and paid nothing that has warrsnt d them to stop the or lawlessness.

I just wonder where people like Kowalko stand on this type of behavior by our states employers

Anyone care to wager in which industry Brandon is employed?

Can’t say, best you ask the conservative business owners that hire them.

  12. Dorian Gray says:

Undocumented immigrants commit far less crime than average. Undocumented people contribute about $12 billion in taxes (which will increase sharply if Obama’s immigration plans continue to be implemented). Health cost for undocumented people are about $6.4 billion – of which only 17% are paid via public programs (around $1.1 billion).

Tell you what, we’ll start discussing solutions when you can demonstrate that there’s a problem. It makes a nice rallying cry for a reality TV personality, but like most reality TV it’s not real.

Look at this article. Here is a real crime… not robocalls.

Should we get rid of Dole too? Should we just cancel their contract at the Port? Will that shut the port down and cause thousands of union laborers to be laid off? Would, we as citizens, be comfortable with that resolution?

    Just questions

Yes, we should and let another more law abiding company fill the void. Instead of fining companies that repeatedly break the law, do something tougher You know…free market…hand swiping bull shit
