Deep Thought
Having a shoe thrown at him is the only consequence Bush will ever have to contend with for having killed tens of thousands of people, and utterly destroyed the economy.

Aside from having a shitty, piss-poor legacy, which won’t affect Bush in the short term (read: until he dies), I think you may, sadly, be right.
Do these guys practice throwing shoes? Because that was a well-aimed shot.
Hmmm… the aim was good, and the guy managed to throw two shoes. Where in the hell was the Secret Service?
Sad but true. I wonder if that is Bush’s last press conference?
Our peace group has to come up with an idea for the anniversary of the 6th year since the war started in March. I was picturing us all standing somewhere HOLDING SHOES. Think that would send a message? (just kidding, of course)
Bush just doesn’t get it. He thinks the reporter just wanted to get on TV. Right!
In the coming years, Bush like Truman will get better reviews than the standard party line attacks.
I don’t dismiss the faults and screw ups (Rumsfield should have been let go sooner) but our security will have been enhanced because of his actions.
Mr. Obama will do little differently and those of you who voted for a different Iraq policy were lied to by Obama. Mr Gates is living proof.
No, Mike, it won’t. As a pilot you ought to realize that. We’re fighting a war and managing an occupation. Neither has shit to do with
our “security,” as you naively put it.
Just because you can’t tell the difference between “we’re getting out as soon as is safely possible” and “we’re in it to win it” doesn’t mean nobody else can.
Truman, despite the revisionist history, was not up to the job, and his reputation will sink back to where it belongs.
Wow, Mike, after all this you still believe he’ll get OK reviews and our security has been enhanced. No wonder you can’t get elected dog-catcher.
Even if (IF!) our security is enhanced the cost was too high. Rush to war on bad WMD evidence, torture, rendition, wire taps… too high.
Give me liberty or give me death. I’d rather deal with a twinge of fear than have my phone tapped and have US citizens denied HC in Cuba. But hey that’s just me. I dig American values and you clearly hate them. 🙂
Mike definitely got the talking points memo.
The only way that Bush gets out of being the Worst.President.Ever is if his team is successful in selling their completely wrong talking points. And while we have not been attacked, I do remember that we are supposed to be involved in Global War on Terror and that has been quite the failure.
Nice legacy:

seriously, Protack could have been our governor?
that is fucking scary…
Arlen Specter says there was only one shoe thrown.
HA! The magic shoe theory! It swerved off W and struck al-Maliki in the right wrist…
Lots of fucking laughs, Protack!
Wishful thinking that flies in the face of evidence and probability must be the driving force of your assessment-making skilz. This indication is apparent, given your campaigns for public office!
😆 two-times!
Bu$hCo’s infamy won’t come from Iraqi occupation; it’ll come from what he didn’t do…finish Afghanistan, uphold the constitution, enforce regulations…etc…
