I just got polled in the Insurance Commissioner race.
Received a call to my cell phone, which is interesting. It was an auto message asking me if I knew who the current Insurance Commissioner was. I had the option of pushing 1 for yes or 2 for no. Obviously, I pushed 1. The second question asked me if the current Insurance Commissioner was 1) Matt Denn, 2) Karen Weldin Stewart or 3) Mitch Crane.

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez (R) “has lost a hair stylist thanks to her position against gay marriage,” KOB TV reports.
Says Antonio Darden, a popular stylist who runs Antonio’s Hair Studio in Santa Fe: “The governor’s aides called not too long ago, wanting another appointment to come in. Because of her stances and her views on this I told her aides no. They called the next day, asking if I’d changed my mind about taking the governor in and I said no again.”
This should happen more often. Conservatives consequently expect service from those they deny rights to.
Delaware Liberal Tracking Poll Results — Beau Biden
The Attorney General was smart to pass up a run at the Senate in 2010, after having much of his first term as Attorney General taken up by his deployment to Iraq. Now, after more time and accomplishment in the job, particularly including his role in the 49 state mortgage settlement, he has a record, and it seems we like that record. He has a 70% approval rating, coming in second to Lt. Governor Matt Denn as one of the most popular politicians in Delaware.

Rick Santorum is now the stronger general election candidate against President Obama. I assume the reason for that is he inspires social theocratic fascists and is largely unknown to the rest of the general nonpartisan population, while Romney is now pretty much hated by everyone everywhere.
Even Delaware has an Approval Rating
Just to make sure that our state itself is not feeling left out of our Tracking Poll, Public Policy Polling has conducted a nationwide poll concerning the favorability of the fifty individual states.
I Need This To Happen.
Donald Trump told CNBC he would “seriously, seriously” consider jumping into the White House race if Rick Santorum wins the GOP presidential nomination.
What Would Have Happened if John McCain Won the Election?
If John McCain had won, and he had sticked to current Republican austerity dogma and done nothing to rescue or stimulate the economy in early 2009, what would have happened? We don’t have to guess. Because the conservative governments of Germany, France, the U.K. and elsewhere in Europe have provided us with our parallel universe.
Delaware Liberal Tracking Poll Results: Paul Clark
Karen Weldin Stewart has company on the bench of most unpopular politicians in Delaware. Paul Clark has a 51% disapproval rating, and a 30% approval rating. The rest don’t know him or don’t care. Still, a negative -21 point favorability spread is not something to smile about, even if this is an inaccurate non-random internet poll.

Here is something different: a poll of primary voters about who they want as Vice President. Now, I imagine that none of the four contenders will be picked as a Vice President nominee by the eventual winner. The four contenders are each toxic in their own right, and the toxic winner will need some fresh air to rehabiliate his campaign for the fall, and that means a fresh face. And yet, Santorum shockingly comes in second.
Delaware Liberal Tracking Poll Results: Matt Denn
Matt Denn gets to walk into the Governor’s Office this morning and brag: he has better approval numbers than Jack Markell.
