The Idiot Frank Knotts
I meant to get to this earlier this week, but work always gets in the way. Frank Knotts of Delaware Politics wants to impeach President Obama. Yes, that is not news, since Frank Knotts and indeed most Republicans have wanted to impeach the President before he even took office for the crime of being a Democrat, or being black, or both.
The Campaign to Waste Time and Money = A Republican Campaign for Treasurer
In a move learned from his national Republicans, yet in a move that was old and discredited three months ago, “Tardy” Colin Bonini, the Republican presumptive nominee for state Treasurer, is demanding that Attorney General Beau Biden waste the taxpayer’s money and the state’s resources, and not to mention, the AG Office’s time (in short supply in the gear up for the biggest prosecution this state has seen since Capano), in a partisan yet unfounded effort to declare the Healthcare Reform Bill unconstitutional.

And we should not limit this day or remembrance to military veterans, but expand it to all those of our countrymen and women who put their lives on the lines for us. Policemen. Firemen. Paramedics. Anyone who has selflessly sacrificed themselves and their lives for others.
Carney Demands Cancellation of All East Coast Drilling
“While I support the suspension, we cannot rest until the plan to drill off of Delaware and the rest of the East Coast is abandoned completely, and the preservation of Delaware’s precious environment and our state’s economy that depends on it, is assured.”

It should not have taken this long. It led to frustration (rightly so). It made us wonder if President Obama should have become the socialist he is always wrongfully accused of being, and nationalized BP of North America and seized their assets so as to take over the operation. But the accusations of incompetence and ineptedness coming from the right and left don’t seem to be true from reading first hand accounts of what actually went into plugging the damn hole
Sister Margaret
Sister Margaret was a senior administrator of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. A 27-year-old mother of four arrived late last year, in her third month of pregnancy. According to local news reports and accounts from the hospital and some of its staff members, the mother suffered from a serious complication called pulmonary hypertension. That created a high probability that the strain of continuing pregnancy would kill her. “In this tragic case, the treatment necessary to save the mother’s life required the termination of an 11-week pregnancy,” the hospital said in a statement.
Guess what happened to Sister Margaret.

Nothing lights up our tip line like Insurance Commissioner Karen Weldin Stewart. Some of the tips cannot be substantiated, others seem outlandish, even for this commissioner’s office. A recent one says they themselves may have to contact the authorities to alert them of the rampant alleged fraud that is going on in her office, to which I say, great, please do so, for if the corruption is so rampant, and if you have evidence of it, then what are you waiting for. This is not to say that we aren’t keeping an eye on KWS. We have covered the allegations against the on the Insurance Commissioner going all the way back to May of 2009. So it was with interest that I saw that an ethics complaint had been filed against her. But then I find out who filed it.

We. Told. You. So.
President Obama’s American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, otherwise known as the Stimulus by normal intelligent people, and as TAX HIKES AND SOCIALISM!!!! (even though it contained the largest tax cut in all human history) by people who can’t put together a correctly spelled sentence if their life depended on it (otherwise known as the Teabaggers), is now proved to be a smashing succcess.
On Education Funding.
The thing that our critics never understand about Delaware Liberal is that none of our ten contributors agree with each other all the time, and we never speak in one voice. We speak in ten voices. At times they are unified, but more often than not they are varying and sometimes they are dissenting. I am about to dissent a little bit from one of my colleagues, but I hope this starts a good discussion about education.
