Airing my dirty laundry

It’s hard being me, it really is.  Yesterday I was supposed to give my daughter #2 her birth certificate so she could give it to her mother for stuff regarding school.  It is part of the wonderful life we have created as completely f’d up parents of divorce that constantly puts the kids in the middle.   Instead of being adults we use the kids as messengers.  Actually to put myself above it my ex does, I “try” not to, but it is a constant battle we have that never, ever let’s up.

Well my daughter wasn’t at school yesterday because her mother let her skip field day….so I didn’t give her the birth certificate….

and now I air my dirty laundry for you….

A little story

So there I was walking down the street on a beutiful spring day. I was sort of minding my own business, as much as one can when they are as stunningly attractive and adult as I am. I was walking along and whistling. I like to whistle. It relaxes me, my Pop-pop used to whistle, he was cool, he was a quiet man, but he whistled sometimes, before he fell asleep on the couch. I also like to stick my hand in my left pocket my pop-pop didn’t do that, I learned it on my own. My right hand, I always keep my right hand out of my pocket in case I have to sign an autograph or shake a fans hand . As an adult I try to carry myself with some self respect. I have an image to uphold as Delaware’s Most Attractive blogger (c)  and I plan on upholding that image as much as one can and for as long as I can.realjake01.jpg

It is a chore being me. You see I’m special. I’m a pretty special citizen. Yes, beyond the good looks, there actually is some substance. You see I’m not an angry person like some people. We all know at least one angry person don’t we?

We all know people that are angry and just spit piss and vinegar their entire lives; the kind of guy that still reads comic books, criticizes everyone and calls them names if they don’t agree with there point of view. But that isn’t just like me (usually). I don’t do that it just isn’t my style anymore. I used to hate people, but that was before Sister Martin Joseph told me you should never hate someone, only the devil hates. I stopped hating right away (except for my ex). I believed Sister knew what she was talking about. At 200 lbs I listened to her (most of the time)

Now can someone tell me

Well, since the post below achieved it's mission which was no one has a fucking clue as to why amnesty is such a bad thing or how illegals are really…

UPDATED: Can someone tell me

Why amnesty for illegals is such a bad thing? I guess I’m struggling to see why it is.

 On a related note:

“Mike Castle Supports Amnesty for 12 million illegal immigrants!”

…is what you would expect the headline to read over on the delaware-wingnut-o-sphere.

Castle clearly wants to keep a very large pool of cheap labor for his corporate overloads, and yet all the macho men over at First State Politics are silent. No on-line petitions, no impotent bluster. What gives?

The Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act, a bill developed by Senators John McCain and Edward Kennedy and others, includes the so-called “Essential Worker Visa Program” with a new category called “H-5A.”

That darn liberal media again

BAGHDAD, May 17 — More than 60 people were killed and dozens wounded in mortar strikes, drive-by shootings, roadside explosions, suicide bombings and other violent attacks in Iraq on Thursday, as a new study warned that the country was close to becoming a “failed state.”

wait a sec…it’s, it’s not just the liberal media!  it’s those darn liberal foreign policy research institutes too!

A report released Thursday by Chatham House, a foreign policy research center in Britain, challenged the notion that violence in Iraq has subsided since the buildup of U.S. troops, saying, for instance, that car bombings had not diminished and arguing that radical groups were simply lying low. “It can be argued that Iraq is on the verge of being a failed state which faces the distinct possibility of collapse and fragmentation,” the report said.

now read closely people, b/c I’m sure you missed it.  PEOPLE were killed, you know, human beings…but not Americans…gee so you mean to tell me that the Iraqi’s are killing each other?  That muslims are killing muslims?  NOoooooo, wait that just can’t be, that would mean…gasp, we are over there in the middle of civil war?…nahhhhh
