Filed in National by on July 12, 2008 13 Comments

Today I stopped by to pay homage to Delawares most progressive State Rep, John Kowalko. John held a fundraiser in his home to kick off his campaign and to celebrate the arrival of wind power in Delaware.  In attendance were some of the political movers and shakers, John Carney, John Flaherty, Dana Garrett and Ed […]

Christiana Mall Begins Their Opression

Filed in National by on July 12, 2008 25 Comments

Last night, Christiana Mall began their policy to keep unaccompanied teenagers out of the mall on Fridays and Saturdays.  CBS3 reported on it.  The mall is making the accompanied youth wear a red wristband.  I guess the yellow armbands were too controversial. Apparently, the teenagers have started a Facebook group called The official boycott of […]

More Free Speech Zones

Check out the video of a woman that showed up at a McCain Rally with a sign that said McCain=Bush. First, the cop states that he has been asked to remove her by the Secret Service.  Turns out this is a lie.  The Secret Service has now denied any involvement. Second, the woman has […]

Filed in National by on July 11, 2008 16 Comments

For the first time ever The Socialist Party of Delaware is going to be on the ballot.  I am really quite surprised that they were able to get on with the 1% requirement.  Jokes may ensue, but do so at your own risk (I’m looking at you RickJ).

Middletown businessman Jay Heath spoke against two of the headlining acts at the Unicity […]

You probably have heard that Tommywonk has been selected as the Delaware representative to the Democratic National Convention in Denver as a member of the blogging corps.  We are very happy for him.  Really. What you may not know, is that along with this honor, comes a high price tag.  Tom must pay his own […]

McCain Thinks

Filed in National by on July 10, 2008 13 Comments

Check out this video of McCain caught in a question that he couldn’t answer.  Perhaps it was a senior moment, but it was a pretty uncomfortable few minutes of interview. Earlier Dominique made a reference to What a good surrogate Carly Fiorina is.  To an extent, I agree.  She is smart, but she doesn’t […]

Lofink Running: Two Jobs in the Balance

Filed in National by on July 10, 2008 10 Comments

A reliable source has informed me that Vince Lofink has decided to run again for his seat, despite the woes related to his son’s arrest and subsequent tongue lashing by the judge during sentencing.  Why would he do such a thing?  Earl Jaques gave him a good run for his money in 2006, and is […]

Mat Marshall Leaves KHN Campaign

One of my sources has told me that the word out of Karen Hartley-Nagle’s Congressional campaign is that Mat Marshall has left the campaign. I don’t know the reasons for his departure, but my source says that he left of his own accord. I don’t know what this means for the KHN campaign, but I […]
