You know, none of these polls have varied wildly as you would expect internet polls. Last month, Chris Coons had a 70% approval rating. This month he has a 73% approval rating. Last month, he had a 16% disapproval rating. Now it is 22%.

Laws Affect People, Not Abstract Concepts

Hi DL. I’m Mrs. XStryker. Some of you know me already. I’m not a very vocal member of this community and in that light I’d like to thank the rest of the contributors for allowing me to post this guest blog. Something has to be done on behalf of women who think this will never happen to them. I know I was certainly one of them.

DL Tracking Poll Results — NCCo Executive Paul Clark (Round 2)

Filed in Delaware by on April 4, 2012 3 Comments

In February, New Castle County Executive Paul Clark had a 30% approval rating and a 51% disapproval rating, rivaling Karen Weldin Stewart and everyone in the Republican party as the most disliked politicians in Delaware. Things did not get better as the weather warmed. Now he has a 76% disapproval rating and a 15% approval rating. This tells us two things: 1) the first poll was freeped by whatever minimal support Clark has in the party, and 2) our internet poll is obviously inaccurrate where Clark is concerned. Yeah, Clark is not liked and is disapproved of, but it does not rise to the level of 76%.

DL Tracking Poll Results — Auditor Tom Wagner (Round 2)

Filed in Delaware by on April 2, 2012 0 Comments

Last month, Tom Wagner scored a 55% approval rating, making him by far the most popular Delaware Republican alive today. His disapproval was 43%. Our new poll finds his approval to have fallen 9 points to 46%, while his disapproval rating has risen by nearly the same margin of 8 points, or to 51%. I think that makes him still the most popular Republican in Delaware.

Stand Your Ground Law, Meet The Bar Scene

I am sure almost every woman has a story to tell, here is one of mine…

I was 25 and having drinks with friends at Harpoon Hannah’s (yeah, I know.). A man approached our table and asked me to dance. I thanked him for the offer, but declined. I even offered an excuse, “I’m hanging out with friends tonight. I haven’t seen them in a while, but thank you.” Frankly, my “no, thank you” should have been enough, but I get that approaching a stranger and asking them to dance can be difficult, so I always tried to be kind. Can anyone guess what happened next?
