My Cartoon on Meet the Press
I was out shopping for groceries for Mother’s Day Sunday morning when I found out that my cartoon about the death of Osama bin Laden was featured on this week’s “Meet the Press.”
Is This an Attack on Traditional Marriage?
I’ve always heard that life was going to the dogs. Perhaps one of our learned friends over at that other political blog could tell us if this is an attack on traditional marriage. There was a full-page photo layout on page 90 of the May 5 edition of The Cape Gazette.
Building Delaware’s Future, or How to Throw Taxpayer Money at Businesses
Governor Markell has spent the past three days rolling out his plan to spend newly DEFAC-found revenues of $320M. Links to the Governor’s Press Releases on this are below, and worth looking at in their entirety.
Guess I’ll Have To Listen To Jensen Today
Over at Kilroy’s, Nancy Willing states that John Young and Lillian Lowery will be on the Rick Jensen show today. Warning: Nancy’s info had better be correct! 😉 Consider this an open thread on the subject. Hey, maybe someone will answer my questions! My questions: 1. Who wrote the assessment plan? Specifically, the part that […]
General Assembly Pre-Game Show: Tuesday, May 3, 2011

However, I do have time to look at what George and Jerry might call ‘shrinkage’. Starting first from the basic premise […]
Chip Flowers Fumbles the Implementation of his “Economic” Program
Over the weekend, you may have noticed that a discussion started in the Friday Open Thread comments about how State Treasurer Chip Flowers’ first attempt to expand the duties of his office has run into something of a brick wall. If you look at the comments there, you’ll note that the Flowers’ Fan Club is out in force again, and they are hanging their defense of Chip Flowers on arguments that rely alot on conspiracy theories and not much on the facts on the ground.
Delaware’s Top Republican Covers Up Wrongdoing
Tom Wagner’s office withheld a report critical of DSU and Dick Cathcart according to a News Journal investigation.
Technology Etiquette
Yeah, I’m on a pet peeve roll, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I love technology as much as the next person, and I shudder to think how much time I spend with my gadgets, but there are times to put the damned gadgets away. Dining with other humans is the first instance that […]
