I was at City Council last Thursday where Bud Freel brought up an ordnance (pdf) that would allow the City to sign a contract with a firm that would take he video recorded by WITN of Council Meetings and live stream them over the internet.
Gannett Lays Off Workers and Profits Soar? Great Success!
Newspapers aren’t dying; they’re committing seppuku. And it’s their corporate owners who are sharpening their swords. Just ask anyone at the News Journal.
No Blue-Light Special for Sussex County Teabaggers
After seeing Cassandra’s post this morning about how the Delaware GOP is in bed with the Tea Party, promoting their demonstrations around the state tomorrow, we decided to contact Kmart to see what their feelings were about the ir parking lot being used as a staging area for the Rehoboth Beach area’s public teabagging […]
Tom Carper Surprise Townhall Call
I am currently on a Tom Carper virtual townhall meeting. I’ll try to liveblog it.
Facepalm of the Day
In today’s Delaware Dialog, there is a post by Ginger Gibson that I have two issues with. David Hoffman, new to the Chris Coon’s Senate campaign, had his laptop stolen . . . from his car on Concord Pike. Leaving your laptop in your car?! In my humble opinion this makes Hoffman too dumb to […]

Insurance Commissioner Enlists Local Help
Last night I received an inscrutable email from my fellow blogger and former Sussex County Republican Chair, Dave Burris. This is not unusual, I rarely understand what he is talking about. But I just received a press release that makes even less sense.
Karen Weldin Stewart, The Delaware Insurance Commissioner, has enlisted the help of David Burris of Milford to assist the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) in local outreach and public relations.
