Did Biden Screw Over Democrats In The Senate Race?
Asked on MSNBC whether Beau had bowed out of a Senate campaign because the political terrain was just too unfavorable for Democrats, the vice president said that’s not how things went down: “He basically made that decision at Thanksgiving. It’s a question of how it got rolled out.”
Markell Signs Table Gaming Bill Into Law
As expected, HB 310 was fast-tracked through the General Assembly this week, and has already been signed into law by the Governor. Ginger Gibson has the story here. Gibson reports that companion bill, SB 188, is expected to pass the House soon and will then head to the Governor for his signature.

Governor Markell has unveiled his FY2011 Budget proposal, which will seek to eliminate a $254 budget deficit with $143.6 million in spending cuts and cost savers, $59.8 million in additional federal funds, $39.7 million in anticipated table game revenues and $10.6 million that is extra money in the Rainy Day Fund. Markell is Beloved
Fifty-seven percent (57%) approve of the job Democratic Governor Jack Markell is doing, with 15% who strongly approve. Thirty-six percent (36%) disapprove, including 12% who strongly disapprove. These numbers are basically unchanged from October.
