This is a few days old, but it is worth reflecting on the full narcissistic shitheadedness of Trump's statement on the passing of Colin Powell.   And to pre-empt any idiot who wants to argue "but you don't like Colin Powell, so Trump must be right."    First of all - go fuck yourself.   Secondly, one crumb of truth in Trump's statement doesn't rescue it from being the insane ravings of a dipshit with the mind of a dim bulb seventh grader.  Thirdly, go fuck yourself once more.

When I was a kid it seemed like half of the world's flags were some version of this flag. Red field, soviet hammer and sickle, and a stripe.  A blue stripe (Ukraine).  A double blue strip (Turkmenia).  A dark blue strip (Azerbaijan).  Etc.  Now there is only one hold out waving this classic.  Little Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), has a flag frozen in time. Jess Scarene said something in the "Kathy on Kathy Violence" episode to Highlands Bunker that really hit the nail on the head.  I'll make a mess of it, but essentially... So much of our "accountability" for rich, well-connected people depends on them feeling shame - when they really have never felt shame and will never feel shame in the future. Beyond KKMcG just think of Joe Biden waiting for Mitch McConnell to feel shame.  Consider how long this blog has been waiting for Chris Coons to feel shame.  It simply isn't going to happen.   They've killed off whatever vestigial shame mechanism they were born with.
