I see some are taking a Washington Post headline as gospel from God and are concern trolling Hillary as a result. The reality is Donald Trump has already reneged on his supposed tack to the left. He “backtracked on his remarks about raising taxes on wealthy Americans, saying the rich might simply get a smaller tax cut than he originally proposed,” Reuters reports. Said Trump: “I’m not talking about a tax increase. I’m talking about a tremendous tax decrease, OK? I’m not talking a raise from where they are now; I’m talking about a raise from my low proposal.” Trump is going to do this all election long. Trump says one thing that sounds like a complete departure from not only his past proposals and statements and carved in stone GOP orthodoxy, have some idiots in the press go nuts over it, declaring that Trump is now the GREAT LIBERAL CANDIDATE, and then Trump takes it all back later in the day. Let's not fall for it time and again.

Christina School District Board Elections

I was asked in a comment on another post to weigh in on the Christina School District’s School Board elections tomorrow. I said my response deserved its own post; so here we go. I’ve been following the candidates over the last several weeks reading what they’ve been putting out on social media, listening to the feedback from people who attended the candidate forums. Tonight I attended the final candidate forum in person to hear the candidates first hand and I walked out feeling the same way I felt walking in.

From John Stoehr's "The Donald's Trump Card Isn't an Ace: The media narrative that Donald Trump is winning over white working-class voters is false" at U.S. News: "That Trump performed more or less on par with his rivals in Rust Belt states suggests that his supporters were already firmly conservative or already primed to choose any Republican, populist or otherwise, according to Andrew Levison, author of "The White Working Class Today" and analyst for "The Democratic Strategist," a journal of public opinion and strategy. Indeed, Levison observed in a March white paper, Trump performed best not with Midwestern Reagan Democrats but with white working-class Southerners. This, he argued, isn't due to Trump's "right-wing version of economic populism" but "the racial and xenophobic elements of his platform."

The Nazis are happy with Trump. “White men in America and across the planet are partying like it’s 1999 following Trump’s decisive victory over the evil enemies of our race,” exulted Andrew Anglin at the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer. "He is getting white people excited for the first time in my memory,” said a Stormfront participant. “Look at the crowds when he gets the cameras to pan out. They're huge (or should I say YUGE?) and almost 100% white. It is fantastic to see.”
