Carper = Spineless Fu@@ers!

Well it’s nice to know how Tom Carper feel about immunity. I can’t think of a better word to describe him other than spineless. The government asks the Phone Companies to break the law and spy on us, they do, subsequently they are breaking the law.

Well I guess the way Carper sees it, that’s ok. First he voted to eliminate Habeus Corpus, now this. Awesome!

Ok News Journal now that I know you are reading this blog, why NOT WRITE A FUCKING STORY ABOUT IT? OR WOULD THAT BE TOO CHALLENGING FOR YOU LIMPDICK MOTHERFUCKERS?

And Obama voting against immunity people. He was a constituitional lawyer and he gets it.

Spying people, the government was IS spying on everything you do and ATT is helping them. But that’s ok, because we are SOOOO much safer right?

Anyone see this post yesterday? what f’ing good is spying on me doing?

these motherfuckers piss me off somedays man. Just last night

Carper, Brownback, Lieberman, Stevens, McCain voted Nea, Nay (putz)

Maverick vs. Change

Holy Joe, acting like he’s working

– Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden plans to air television ads in Iowa on Wednesday, touting his plan to end the Iraq war and his history of overcoming personal tragedy.

Perhaps we can use Joe’s recent excess of Hot Air to power the new Wind Mills off the gay coast of Delaware. I don’t know about you, but Biden has become the epitomy of all talk and no action. Although I did see a shot of him on CNN in his office, talking on the phone and acting all studious. I’m sure it’s hard werk being on the campaign and skipping votes and stuff…

This is how bush supports his troops….

There just is really, really something sickening about this administration. How in the world they have been able to spin the facts to get the public to think that dems don’t support the troops and that this administration does is mind boggling when you actually read what they aren’t doing.

Even as President Bush and Pentagon officials reassured troops and their families that they were doing all they could, memos and other documents obtained by USA TODAY show that the military cut or underfunded several programs and moved so slowly and grudgingly that members of Congress took extraordinary measures

It is just purely shameful to find out that the Pentagon needs to be pressured to get things done at a time of war for God’s sake. Think about that for a second, we are at war, half of our troops have died b/c of IED’s and we still don’t have the proper armor for the troops. Some still don’t have the proper body armor and CONGRESS has to tell them to get it, not the other way around. I’m not sure if you are aware of this but in the Pentagon MILITARY PEOPLE WALK THE HALLS EVERYDAY. You would fucking think, they would be doing more to save thier own people’s lives and limbs wouldn’t you?

Former Defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld “and many top administration officials believed the war would end quickly,” so in their view, there was “surely no need to spend large amounts of money for equipment,” says Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del. “The cost of ignoring the facts on the ground … has been the lives and limbs of our sons and daughters.”

My kiss ass letter to Holy Joe

Yes, I wrote a but smooching letter to Joe.  I don’t care.  I come from the retail side of the world.  I think it is important to let people know when they are doing a good job, not just a bad one.  A compliment goes a long way and it something we don’t do enough in this world.

so read away!

Holy Joe on Scooter

In a statement issued today, Senator Joe Biden decried the commuted sentence for former vice presidential chief of staff I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. “It is time for the American people to be heard,” said Biden. “I call for all Americans to flood the White House with phone calls tomorrow expressing their outrage over this blatant disregard for the rule of law.”

I plan on lying underoath and calling the president to commute my sentence. As soon as I break the law and smear someone that disagrees with me.

US Waives Some Border Passport Rules

I’m travelling to Mexico soon (I will have some posts up about that next week)  and my three children need passports.  I have been on the phone all week with the State Department trying to track them down.  They finally arrived in Delaware today.  I would like to thank Jillian from Joe Biden’s office for making that happen.  I have 2 of 3 passports and the 3rd should arrive tomorrow (hopefully) but with the Senator calling about a passport things have a way of working themselves out.

This post isn’t about that though, the State Dept finally realized they fucked up and were screwing over travellers left and right by not being properly prepaired for something they knew was coming (sounds like a theme don’t it?)
so here is an article that talks about the problem…and the state departments relaxing of the law till September

Now read this juicy comment from Maura Harty, the assistant secretary for consular affairs:

What we did not anticipate adequately enough was the American citizens’ willingness and desire to comply with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative in the timeframe that they did,” Harty said.

I call BULLSHIT…..Hello! what am I supposed to do when I fly to fucking Mexico bitch? Tell them to fuck off and run past customs? or better yet tell them that I don’t want to comply with the Western Hemispher Travel Initiative? I abstain!  I decline, now let me in!

I can see it now “Oh, Ok sir, Si’, NO PROBLEM, WELCOME TO MEXICO, Beinvenedo (or some shit like that)”

People have no choice to comply or they don’t go to Mexico for vacation dumb ass.

New Boss same as the old boss

This shit makes me sick and it should piss you off too

It is just fucking great to know that nothing has changed in Congress. A few politicians are in jail, a few more people are indicted but they just can’t stop dishing out your tax money to special interest.

All the more reason to keep voting for change and to get rid of the likes of Biden, Castle and Carper. The longer they stick around the longer things will stay the same.

Please help me on why this is a good thing?

Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., introduced two amendments to the fuel-efficiency bill passed Tuesday that would create biofuel standards and allocate $50 million a year for the next five years toward research and development of advanced battery technology.

The bill is expected to benefit the auto industry in Delaware and the rest of the nation because it will provide more investment in battery technology needed to operate electric vehicles and the next generation of “plug-in” hybrids.

I’ll say it again…I’m not smart so I need help trying to understand the logic being espouced by Biden, Carper and Castle on this one.  I’m going to give it my best shot though

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t foreign competition supposed to force domestic companies to go ahead and create products that are better without my tax money?  Isn’t that what competition is supposed to do?  So, why is the government handing out $50 million to US Auto companies that haven’t done shit to forward fuel conservation since, well EVER!!?  I’m really struggling to see what this is besides a handout and a blatant attempt to get someone to set up shop in De again.

Lesson learned though, fall behind the competition, refuse to create a product the market needs, refuse to create a product that will benefit consumers, get tens of millions of dollars from the government for your own Research and Development.  Sweeeeeeeetttttttt!

We know you are busy on Sunday’s Sooo here at Del Lib we bring the news to you

So I thought it was my job to remind you that the surge is working…

BAGHDAD – Roadside bombs killed eight American soldiers in separate attacks Sunday in Diyala province and Baghdad, and a car bomb claimed 30 more lives in a wholesale food market in a part of the Iraqi capital where sectarian tensions are on the rise. The deadliest attack against U.S. forces occurred in Diyala, where six U.S. soldiers and a European journalist were killed when a massive bomb destroyed their vehicle, the U.S. military said. Two U.S. soldiers were wounded, the military said.

But Don’t worry, because Holy Joe is out stumping and he has a message… Democratic presidential candidates have been too timid in expressing their opposition to the war in Iraq, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., said SaturdayBiden said Republican support for the war will dissolve as the focus shifts to the next election. Republicans who are wavering on the war should be pressured and reminded of the losses the GOP suffered in the last election, he said

So hey hopefully after 2 years and by the time next election comes things will havfe gone SO HORRIBLY wrong even the Republicans will have to change course.

Boy, aint democracy grand?

I’m popping my cherry!

i’m already over my 1 post limit, but that other one doesn’t count.  “I’m a rebel Dotty!”

Mr Bush was doing his best to contribute to global warming by blowing more hot air for the plants in the Rose Garden.  Bush by the way thinks the Rose Garden is a national park I kid you not.

So there he was, the Decider, uniting  dividing the country again by playing blame villafy the democrats.  But as the hypocrite in chief is learning his arrows are becoming more like boomerangs these days. We have a nice article today from Newsweek’s Michael Hirsh. Hirsh lays it out pretty good, slapping back each and every Chimpy attempt to join this country together.  Hirsh doesn’t apparently understand his role. He is a reporter. Reporters in Washington bend over and take what the white house shoves them.  No doubt he is a communist & abetting the enemy.  Most likely he has Al Qaeda on speed dial and faxed this article over to them to proof read.

Let’s begin:

Bush began by complaining that it had been “57 days since I requested that Congress pass emergency funds for our troops.” He said that if Congress doesn’t give him a bill he can sign by mid-April, the Army will be “forced to consider cutting back on equipment, equipment repair and quality-of-life initiatives for our Guard and Reserve forces,” as well as training, so that money can go to “troops on the front lines.” And if he doesn’t get a bill by mid-May, Bush said, “the problems grow even more acute”—forecasting delays in funding repair depots, training active-duty forces needed overseas, and in forming new brigades. Yet previous Republican-controlled Congresses have left for spring recess without passing the sort of supplemental bill Bush was talking about. In 2006, the GOP Congress didn’t approve the supplemental until the middle of June. Sen. Jack Reed

Well lookie lookie. This god damned journalist must be one of them liberal elites that hates Merika! You mean to tell me the President aint “straight shootin” with Merikans? no, not Mexicans, MeriKans!

Let’s continue….

“It’s hard not to view this [Bush’s charges] as somewhat hyped up,” says Steve Kosiak of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, a Washington-based military think tank. “In addition to [the bridge fund], the Pentagon can tap its regular budget for the last quarter of the fiscal year, and shift money from procurements with a long lead time, like a new armored fighting vehicles. It creates some inefficiencies, but it’s part of the process.”

Carrying on….here is something you wont find in the Snooze Journal:

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joe Biden, D-Del., called the supplemental a “shell game” and told “Fox News Sunday”: “If the president had been honest with what he needed for this war in his regular budget, then we wouldn’t be having this.”

Holy JOE! Making a point that wasn’t over 2000 words. Sadly, Joe wasn’t wearing a Princeton hat during this interview so it didn’t warrant coverage by the NJ.

This is the last Paragraph I will cut and paste for fear of wearing out my welcome on the first day:

The president also announced that thus far only 40 percent of the troops called up in the “surge” have reached Iraq. Bush said he found it “somewhat astounding that people in Congress would start calling for withdrawal even before all the troops have made it to Baghdad.” When will they get there? By “early June,” Bush announced. And yet the administration has previously made a point of suggesting strongly that this summer is a fair time to assess the surge’s effectiveness. Gen. George Casey, the previous multinational forces commander in Iraq, was asked in late December when he thought troops could come home. “I believe the projections are late summer,” Casey told reporters. At a congressional hearing on Jan. 11, new Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the surge’s duration would be “a matter of months.” Now, without quite saying so, the president seems to have pushed back the target date for the surge’s success—and withdrawal. Says Jack Reed: “Most counterinsurgency specialists talk about success coming in years, not months.”

To use a phrase I love by Cal from Taladega Nights…… “THAT JUST HAPPENED!”
