The Domino Theory

“West Virginia is about to move ahead of Delaware in what it offers by way of state-supported gambling.

West Virginia has operated much like Delaware with slot machines at long-established horse racing tracks. (R. Williams)

Last week, however, the House of Delegates voted 55-42 to authorize table games such as blackjack and roulette at the racinos. The bill now goes to the state Senate.”

I might be going out on a limb here, but I think you will be able to play blackjack, roulette and poker in Delaware by 2010. After that when we see how much money Pennsylvania is making from legalized prostitution you will able to pay for sex using your American Express card.

you can already play blackjack at Del Park, just with a computer, but 5 people are playing at the same table.

It is pretty cool actually. I have to say I enjoy it.

Also, DE is one of, I think, 3 states that COULD have sports betting. Look for us to allow that in the next decade.

Hell, why not legalize heroin? Tell the Rammer we can tax it to cover DelDOT shortfall. Then we can teach grade-school kids how to clean their spikes effectively. What the heck, they’re gonna do it anyway, they might as well learn how to be safe about it. Oh sorry, that was condoms.

Legalized table games, sports betting, blow-jobs, heroin and all to save our horse racing industry.

I hope those fuckers appreciate it!

You’re kidding, they still have horse racing at Delaware Park?

  6. liberalgeek says:

Yes, but it is electronic horse racing. You sit at a table and watch electrons race around the virtual track. It is quite fun, I hear.

Kinda sucks when they have to put one down on the track, though. Little bits and bytes scattered everywhere…
