Ass-kicking? More like pummeling. Trouncing. Pulverizing.

Good riddance to this arrogant crooked bastard.

It is nice to see that if the GOP won’t clean its own house that the voters will do it for them. Our party needs this type of exorcism.

Next crook up – JOHN STILL.

Still and Schaeffer were the GOP powerhouse 6 years ago. If they hadn’t screwed things up with arrogance, the appearance of corruption, and general all-around assholedom, our State in ’08 would have resembled an East African warlord run country. I may have been critical of the Jesus-freak posters in other venues, but I would like to say now that it appears there is a God, and I would like to meet her.

The cruelty and viciousness shown by the Mayor, and especially his rabid wife, are now hopefully a thing of the past. These two make Gordon and Freebury look like Jonas Salk and Mother Theresa. While it is rumored they are going to relocate to a just-built multi-million dollar property in Sussex, I for one think the move isn’t far enough. (By the way; how do you make enough money to build several thousand square feet of house at the beach when your income is a rinky-dink construction company and a mayoral salary of $600/year?)

The new Smyrna administration will have its hands full paying the bills run up by the Mayor. Hopefully, they will find time for a review of the annexations, variances, re-zonings, and squirrely building permits issued under the ex-Mayor’s tenure, and if justified, perhaps the beach house can be sold in order to recoup some of what was lost and some of what will be needed by the Town of Smyrna.

John Still is going to be a tough nut to crack. It would be nice if he just dried up and blew away, but I don’t see it happening.

He squeaked out a win last election against a newbie by just a few points. Since that time, he has become the toady of the insurance companies pushing credit scoring as a new means of raising rates on insurance.

Like Sharky, he has done amazingly well financially during his tenure as a “public servant”. I think he has dried up, and will be blown away. The last district meeting discussing who would be a good candidate to run against him included mention of Lassie, Mickey Mouse, and John Atkins, as it appears any of the three could beat him.

I mentioned in my previous post that the shady real estate transactions in Smyrna under the past Mayor’s “leadership” should be investigated. I think it would also be a good idea to look into any insurance or other services Still “provided” to the town of Smyrna.
