I nearly missed Wiliiams musings on Wharton’s I-95 hit and run:
But I do have a few questions myself based on what information was released by the police. Why didn’t he stop?
Why did it take him until after he got home and readied his dog for a walk to check on possible damage to his car?
If the state police took pictures of damage to Wharton’s car, which will become public record after the charges are resolved, why did he deny a News Journal request to take a picture, too?
Why is it a big secret who the person in the car with Wharton was?
Where was Wharton coming from?
Was Wharton actually driving at the time of the accident?
Did the police catch up with the other person in time to find out if he/she was sober?
… and Wharton’s silence is no mystery; he knows first-hand how prosecutors will take advantage of those who foolishly volunteer information and waive their right to remain silent.
??? I wonder if Ron knows I’m hot though? that may influence him even more!!
