Total Net Present Health Benefit From Offshore Windfarm: More than $1 billion

Filed in National by on May 5, 2007

Willett Kempton Says:

Finally, we have a solid estimate of the health benefit of building this wind farm. It was done by Dr. Mark Levy of the Harvard School of Public Health with me feeding in the data of the power produced here and the relevant Delaware policies. Bottom line: total net present health benefit more than $1 billion. See the whole letter at:

Not only can we afford the windfarm, we can’t afford to NOT build it.
