Wind Themed Drinking Liberally Celebration

Today Blue Water Wind’s proposal for a wind farm off the coast of Delaware was approved. Delmarva Power will be required to negotiate in good faith with Blue Water for some of Delaware’s electric supply.

This is great – it calls for celebration!! Invite all of your wind friends and come to Drinking Liberally next Thursday, May 31st at 8pm at Deer Park in Newark!!!! Be there.

Here are some wind-themed drinks:

Windy beach
Ingredients:

2 oz white Creme de Cacao
1 oz Spiced rum (Captain Morgan’s)
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup Orange juice
1 splash Lime juice
Ice

Hot Summer Breeze
Ingredients:

1 oz Vodka (Habanero)
3 oz Orange juice
3 oz Ginger ale

Bay Breeze
Ingredients:

3 parts Stoli Vodka
1 part Cranberry juice
1 part Pineapple juice

Island Tide
Ingredients:

3 shots Añejo rum
1 shot Bacardi Limon
Fill with Peach juice
1 – 2 splash Lemon juice

    Wouldn’t know. Never been to one. But I did know a few guys in college who had. They most definitely were NOT friends of mine…but strangely enough, they were Democrats. So I guess you wouldn’t make fun.

    it is the Democrat party that was the party of the Confederacy

    Democrats denied black people the vote
    Democrats gave us Jim Crow laws
    Democrats wore white sheets to maintain the “social order”
    Democrat George Wallace stood in the school house door preventing integrated education
    Democrat Bull Connor turned the fire hoses (and the dogs)on civil rights demonstrators.

    Also old enough to realize how silly liberal ideals are. You know “When I was young my head was full of wonderful liberal ideas….then I grew up!”
