Rumor Patrol: Mike Castle Feels Bad
While some wingnuts hold tight to the fantasy that voting for Bush was the right thing to do, most have jumped ship.
I’m even hearing that Mike Castle is racked with guilt over his past support for Bush and wholly regrets his many Bush enabling votes.
I don’t buy it. It would mean that Mike Castle has a conscience and I’ve never seen any evidence of that.

If he truly regrets his votes, then he must vote with the Democrats to end the war, so as to correct his past mistakes.
If he does not, then Mike Castle reveals himself to be just another lying Republican who will say anything.
With Congressional Dems being outmaneuvered, I’m losing hope for a clean Iraq vote that can put a bright spotlight on Castle’s duplicity.
From a strategy perspective, Castle depends on cross over Dems, so I’m not surprised to hear this PR line about “regret” leaking out of Mike Castle, Inc.
