After reading that tribute to the GOP upper class, I feel as if I should have been working on the attendees estates wearing a burlap shirt made out of an old seed bag wearing a frayed straw hat and mumbling ‘yassir’ and ‘no’um’ to my betters as they strolled by with parasols in order to keep their lily white skin from the sun.
Somebody please tell me Celia’s post was a vicious satire on class and race distinctions promoted by the upper-crust GOP. There is no way she could have been serious.
Celia’s in love with anyone who takes her seriously. If that was bad, her August 28th piece on the Sussex County Jamboree was equally repugnant.
We’re talking about a woman who wrote a 680 word piece on the Lt. Governor shaving. Can’t we just “consider the source” and move on?

Celia should learn to count. 300 people is not a generous number it is bullshit. If she thinks she is trying to help the Republicans with such slathering slobber they don’t need any enemies. Talk about reinforcing the worst stereotypes. Yeash.
