Violent Crime Went Down in Mass When Mitt Romney Was Gov

That is a simple fact.

Did Romney have something to do with that decline? Who knows. But it is still a fact – crime went down.

It is like the fact that Bush was warned about OBL’s plans to attack America. Easy enough to check.

So why are Mitt Romney and Rudy Guliani fighting about it?

They are because Republicans have bought into this notion that there are no objective (provable) truths. Everything is open to debate. Everything can be spun. Ergo; there is no reality beyond the reality that exists in ones own head. This is a pernicious philosophy that is hurting America and it needs to be rejected everywhere is pops up.

A fact is a fact. Some help your case and some hurt you case – but the ones that hurt your case are still facts.

Atkins to Run as A Dem

The pink post card guy said it, but that dope is easy to laugh off. Now it is coming in from multiple sources that Thurman Adams is working on getting John Atkins to run as a Democrat for his old seat.

What a disaster.

It seems the SC Dems have a rump organization that exists to provide cover for whatever Adams wants to happen, so the party will have little say in what Adams decides to do. Not that some in the party would try to derail an Atkins run.

In-fact, Atkins is getting some support within the party from Bob Gilligan. Who knows what Adams motives are for wanting Atkins back, but Gilligan is playing his part out of naked ambition. Gilligan wants to be speaker and appears to be willing to pay a very high price to make that happen.

This is just a sickening turn of events.

Seriously, I have a big shit eating grin on my face as I even type this. How freaking amusing is this? Mike Huckabee, a man that doesn’t believe in evolution, supports CREATIONISM and the death penalty, is against abortion and is the most conservative among the remaining morons is surging in the polls. Even though the remaining pathetic power hungry Evangelicals that aren’t under indictment haven’t supported him.

Gosh, he must feel just like Jesus did.

I hope he wins, we need a real Christian running the country. Think about it. the only problem with the Neo Conservate movement is that we just haven’t had the right guy yet

The War on Christmas: What’s in a Name?

It’s beginning to look a lot like “War on Christmas” time.  I have come to the conclusion that we can’t properly execute this war unless we have a name that sounds good on CNN.  Who can forget Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, or The War on Terror?  I’m looking for a great name that we can use for the War on Christmas posts that I want to do throughout the War on Christmas season.  Operation Tinsel Terror?  Operation Missle-Toe?  Rumble in the Manger?

Let me know any ideas that you come up with.  Next up: naming our tactics, ala Shock and Awe.

You are watching television and here them mention Jerry Garcia.  You then turn to your daughter and say, “You know who Jerry Garcia is?”

Joe is Right…then what?

Everyone likes Joey B. But I doubt they’ll love him so much if he makes a great showing in Iowa.

Yes. I agree with Delaware Dem. A Democrat other than Joe will win.

Yes. Joe Biden be the next Sec. of State.

So: Jack Markell will get to appoint our next Senator. Who will it be?

John Carney…? Nah.

Beau?… I doubt it.

Knowing what I know about Markell, it will probably be be someone unexpected but great.
