Delaware Republicans Dogged by Questions

Filed in Uncategorized by on December 1, 2007

I just came across this dog lovers post about a Delaware Republican fundraiser that raised their ire.  Apparently they are auctioning off a puppy (a Black Lab, purportedly).  The complaint is that dogs should be placed in loving homes, not just go to the highest bidder.  Dog lovers…sic ’em.

I hear they’ll let you strangle a puppy for a donation of $500.

it’s a DOG for crying out loud …. you cry more about this crap than maiming babies by sticking scissors in the backs of their heads…

And besides, Rudy the Republican was so generous with the taxpayers money when it was time to walk Judi’s dog. So, not all Republicans hate dogs.

They should care so much about real political issues …

  5. Dana says:

Uhhh, you’d think that auctioning off the dog would, inter alia, self-select for dog-lovers for people bidding for the dog.

  6. RickJ says:

Please, what a straw man. If I want to strangle a puppy, I’ll get one from the pound, like I usually do. Auction puppies, you got to kill slow like.

    Yours truly,

The Republicans that exist only in jason330’s fevered imagination

AND when you actually read the first link, there’s no REAL proof that it’s happening so if you’re a liberal you don’t NEED proof, you just need to get in touch with your inner GIRL and cry like a baby … over things that MIGHT happen … liberalgeek, grow some gonads….

Remind me. How do 99.999% of all dogs find homes? Is there a governing body of dog lovers that travels the countryside in a stagecoach, leaving puppies on the doorsteps of worthy prospective owners? Or do random people just drive to a freaking PETCO, write out a check for like $800 and drive home with a labradoodle?
