My wife is wonderful.
On Friday night she bailed out on our book club meeting due to a lack of babysitter. So I spent an evening with good wine, good food and good conversation. Then she barely raised an eyebrow when I scored tickets to see Jon Stewart with my brother for his birthday on Saturday night. Finally, I spent all day yesterday tailgating at the Eagles game.
This raises 2 questions. The first is what will I owe Mrs. Geek in return for her amazing deference this weekend? And does donviti have an alibi for where he was all weekend?

My advice, based on my not always happy experience in my own failed marriage, would be to spend this coming weekend with Mrs. Geek.
I’d prefer to recite the line in your vows that says the woman shall submit to you. That should go over pretty well. Then go out this weekend again on her and show her who is boss.
