Thanks for bringing up the fact that the 2000 Democratic nominee for Vice President, hailed at the time for being a groundbreaker, who caucuses with the Socialist-Democrat coalition in the Senate, has endorsed a Republican to be the next President over his Democratic peers.

He’s a one-issue piece of excrement, who owes his entire re-election to republicans. Giving Droopy Dog any power in the Senate is counter-productive.
Lieberman was a ground-breaker in 2000 and was another in 2004 — if you consider his place in the Laughingstock League groundbreaking. Frankly, I wonder if John McCain could find this endorsement a good thing. Lieberman’s only constituency are CT repubs (he’s lost the Independents now) and Fox News viewers — you’d think that McCain could get that crowd all on his own.
Lieberman is a bit of a Neocon in that he has placed National Security considerations ahead of following the Party Line.
He can also do it with impunity and laugh in the face of Harry Reid. What can they do to ‘discipline’ him? Push him too far and his one vote changes control of the Senate.
The moonbat contingent and the Kozmonuts thought they did in the Senator by pushing a Limousine Liberal with an affinity for Al Sharpton in the primary. Clever but not smart.
