I don’t think the GOP will have anything to do with the artillery barraging Obama on the airwaves in NH and beyond.

Most Dems and, it appears, many Independents are pretty happy about the three dem choices and would accept any of them as the nominee. The GOP old guard, money & business, will not stand for The Huckster as the face of THEIR party….they hate him and his populist, god-fearing ways.
It’s time to pay the piper for all those years of tricking dumb white people in voting against their economic interests.
And for trying to convince the same dumb people that the government would change the cultural landscape of the country.
The GOP “establishment” is ferociously working to de-legitimize Huckabee and there is certainly no such effort going on on the Dem side. That is the civil war part.
The Dem candidates and their surrogates will be throwing alot of crap at each other for the next few days before NH, but that is called campaigning.
