OTTAWA, Jan 17 (Reuters) – Canada’s foreign ministry has put the United States and Israel on a watch list of countries where prisoners risk being tortured and also classifies some U.S. interrogation techniques as torture, according to a document obtained by Reuters on Thursday.

Is Canada still part of the coalition of the willing? Do you think W ever read the book How to Win Friends & Influence People ? Maybe it was one of those 60 books he read last year?

    I guess if I say I’m embarrassed I’m not “patriotic”. Maybe Rudy will come to my house and spank me.

    I don’t really need to say this I guess, but this is an utter disgrace. And by association, we are an utter disgrace. The evidence is there for war crimes and there… is… no… excuse… So please, I beg of you, please don’t try to defend our torture policies or make some condescending comment about “French” Canadians or glibly dismiss this with some 9/11 apology.

    Everyone is complicit in this. Our nation tortures… (typing it actually turns my stomach.)
