WAAAAHHH!

Cry baby.

“Representative Wayne Gilchrest was defeated last night in the Maryland Republican primary. Blah blah blah.. His integrity and spirit cannot be replaced.”

What a freaking girl Mike Castle is. I swear. It was his first direct statement about ANYTHING that wasn’t full of caveats and however’s and it was to cry about his buddy getting his ass handed to him.

Well buck up little buckaroo. Your fellow wishy washy Bush enablers are dropping ike flies. You’ll be free to spend more time with the family sooner or later too.

One Year Ago Today

Republicans Strine, Stone and Blakey Hate Retired People but Love Money

How else can you characterize it when a simple bill to protect the rights of retired people who live in manufactured housing gets:

1) hijacked by Donna Stone who tried to double to size of the bill diluting to the point of uselessness and

2) when that fails and it looks like the bill might pass and give retirees the right of first refusal Strine and Blakey use parliamentary maneuvering to get the bill killed?

The bill protected sellers by making the market price any price negotiated between the seller and a buyer – and simply allowed retirees to buy the property at that negotiated price.

The only people who could possible lose money In the deal would be big developers who would have to do the leg work to come to a market price for the land at the risk of having people who actually live on the property match that price.

 Gasp!

Why am I not surprised to hear Donna Stone’s name came up in the middle of this?

duuuuude, Canada is so awesome!

The smoke filling it up can no longer be deemed a reason for arrest in Canada:

“The smell alone can’t constitute the grounds because the smell of burnt marijuana – as opposed to raw marijuana – gives an inference that the material is gone, it’s dissipated into the atmosphere. So how can you say you’re in possession of something that doesn’t exist?” said Ronald Piche, Janvier’s lawyer.

Wierd…

I just got a phone call.  It was kind of wierd though, wait, hold on, before I tell you about the phone call I need to back up and let you know about some of the events that led to this phone call…

Yesterday after work I was feeling pretty down so I decided to try and get in touch with the people again.  Everyone once in a while I veer a little off course and say things I regret.  It’s what makes me me.  I always say that I’m honest to a fault.  I am, I say what’s on my mind.  I don’t really have a filter.  You see if I take time to think about something I can find all kinds of reasons not to say them.  Now, what fun would that be?  That wouldn’t be me quite frankly.  If I dipped my toe into every pool to test the waters I wouldn’t be the succes I am today.
