    Do you think the Delaware GOP will eventually give up and get behind Mike Protack for governor? Even their best candidate wouldn’t have a prayer in 2008, so they might as well go with the only guy who actually wants to run.

    It is a good question. I think that there is too much bad blood at this point. Niether Mike nor the DE GOP have been very diplomatic. (Although Mike has always said nice things
    about Castle – so that is something.)

    Anyway, If they had been there might be a chance for them to say, “Well that was pre-primary stuff – we are all on the same team now.”

    Actually, all they have to do is burn Burris. Just say, “Look, Mike, the guy was really pulling all of the strings and wanted us to say bad things about you… But that’s all behind us now…”

    I don’t think it will happen, and I don’t want it to happen, but these are the rotten Republicans that we’re talking about…
