Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on Monday endorsed a proposed Colorado Human Life Amendment that would define personhood as a fertilized egg.
The former Arkansas governor and Baptist minister also supports a human-life amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I am not surprised that some in this forum can’t recognize a great man. Governor Huckabee is 100% correct. God bless the Children because these liberals certainly won’t.
How debasing is it for someone to ask a pregnant woman at her announcement are you having the baby? Would she announce it if she weren’t? What type degenerate believes it is acceptable to turn such a glorious announcement into a baby murdering agenda? I am glad I was not present.

Zygotes aren’t children. Blastocysts aren’t children. Fertilized eggs that have not yet implanted in the uterine wall certainly aren’t children.

a hospital is burning down and you have only one chance to go back in. With your last chance to save a life do you head for the maternity ward to save a baby? Or do you head to the fertilization clinic down the other hall and save the frozen eggs?
With all the fertilized eggs that are destroyed every year, why don’t the pro-lifers protest outside fertility clinics?
… and David, I can’t help but wonder if you’re as concerned over children as you are over zygotes. Have you adopted any of these babies you’ve fought to save? Have you walked your talk? Or do you just pray for them?
I want to make it clear David, I am pro-life. I have respect for life becuase I classify everything into two categories: 1. living and 2. non-living. The living things are way outnumbered by non-living ones and I respect life on a profound level as a result.
That being said I am not going to make other people share my point of view with the threat of legislation. I will try to get them to care for their kids and other people’s in a humane way but I not on board with the idea that the government should tell women or men what to do with their reproductive organs in a free society. I can give an exmaple from my own life but I cannot and will not force others to do what they do not want to do. I find it is typically people forcing me to do things I would not otherwise want done. If someone injects the gene sequence from an several aborted zygotes into me to restore and enhance my central nervous system and it saves my life should I complain? What do you think? I did not cause the abortion, I did not support it, but I could not stop it….so what do you think? I do not want to admit that life feeds on life becuase I care for people too deeply. And I would rather have us all eat tofu. But I cannot and have no desire to force others what to do as long as they do not try to force me to do things I do not want to do.
Maybe that makes me the anti-christ to Huckabee?
