It makes me proud to see NMBLA roam the streets so freely.

  3. i wonder if he had a can of skoal in his back pocket too

  4. That’s not an unusual spot for Bill Lee. He’s a local down this way and likely hasn’t missed an oyster-eat in any year that he’s actually been in Delaware.

Castle was there. Saw Carney. John Brady (rather easy to see; huge guy). Didn’t see Carper or Biden.

  6. I love Oyster eats & slick dumpling eats. I wish there were more of them in NCC.

I do too Dana. They are a lot of fun.

The highlight was the annual auction of the hand-made oyster knife. It is really handmade, and would retail in Williams-Sonoma for about $100.

Some drunk made the winning bid at $7,800. This was a record.

I missed the oyster eat this year, but unless it’s changed a lot over the years, I would imagine most of the candidates for statewide office this November were there. Except for candidates, Jason, I’ve never bumped into anybody from the Vicmead crowd down there.

Al, the Vicmead peeps do show, we just make them eat in the back.

Really? Name a few, other than those involved in politics. Among politicians, Tom Wagner is the only one I’ve ever seen actually having a good time.
