Bitter, and with good reason. You’d think she would have related – and defended! – Obama’s comments, but voters are digging in. She feels people have to earn their way, but doesn’t seem to realize that her story demonstates how hard work doesn’t always pay off.

Wow. I agree with the commenter in that article that just wonders how someone with the incredibly real problems that she has could waste an opportunity to ask a potential next President of the US something that might address her own situation.
Oh, and McClatchy? They used to be Knight-Ridder before they were acquired and they are the most consistently right news reporting from and about Iraq when the rest of the media was busily cheerleading or taking stenography.
