  1. RickJ19958 says:

McCain voted on a lot of bills.

    Bush voted on zero.

    Checkmate.

  2. Maria Evans says:

McCain voted against the Bush tax cuts.

  3. Pandora says:

Umm… except now he supports the tax cuts.

  4. anon says:

Best of all was McCain’s reasons for voting against the Bush tax cuts – because they were slanted toward the rich.

But now McCain will have to run on extending the tax cuts. If Obama doesn’t knock this one out of the park repeatedly during the campaign he is pathetic.

    Also McCain-Feingold.

McCain set wingnut teeth on edge when he rightly said “Money isn’t speech – it’s property.”

Which was McCain’s last documented instance of Straight Talk ™.

  5. anon says:

    Better question:

How has McCain differed himself from McCain in the past 8 years?

  6. Maria Evans says:

McCain also voted against Bush’s 2005 energy bill.

  7. Maria Evans says:

McCain is for embryonic stem cell research.

He’s against gay marriage but unlike Bush he’s against amending the Constitution to ban it.

He believes in choice for cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother.

    There’s 3 more…

  8. jason330 says:

I loves me some Maria Evans, but it is unrequited because she loves her some Maverick McCain.

Like our own Maverick, Mike Castle, McSame has built a maverick reputation by being in support of things that are wildly popular. Stem cell research, not making Teri Schiavo diagnosis via CNN feeds, not treating raped women like criminals.

    Mavericky stuff.

Anyway, if the Iraq war is small potatoes again this election I guess McCain will be able to ride that maverick reputation.

  9. CNN neglected to report Cindy McCain’s pile o money when they compared the candidates’ relative wealth.
The McCain’s savings on the tax cuts can’t be deciphered without knowing their worth.

  10. Pandora says:

Ah… but does Mari a really love McCain? I’ve yet to meet a conservative/republican that’s thrilled over their nominee.

  11. cassandra_m says:

Remember when Teresa Heinz Kerry would not release her tax records when John Kerry released his? The wingnuts and the media went batshit insane until she released some portion of them. Any guesses as to when the media will be howling for Cindy’s tax records?

Oh, and while McCain has included some exceptions for abortion, he has has taken the maverick’s flip-flop position on his support of Roe v Wade.

Leave it to the General to provide the appropriate visual.

  12. Jason330 says:

“The man with all the answers”

    LOL The general rocks.

  13. Truth Teller says:

McCain called his wife the C word in public and i noticed that George didn’t broach that subject on this morning love fest on ABC

  14. Brian says:

McCain called hillary the “B” word in public, Bush only says that behind her back, and then only when he is so confused he thinks he is talking about Nancy Pelosi.

  15. Maria Evans says:

Darn, I thought I’d get a special prize for answering the question, like maybe a pic of donviti in my email so I can see if he’s really Delaware’s hottest blogger….

  16. Pandora says:

And Mummy Bush plays childrens’ games when discussing female candidates – it rhymes with ‘witch’ – because she’s too much a lady for salty language.

  17. donviti says:

i’m out there maria, you just have to do a little digging.

Oh and great points about McSame. He really stands out against Bush.
