It Looks Like I’m Not The Only One Annoyed

Filed in National by on April 23, 2008

I can take Obama losing Pennsylvania.  I can stomach a 9.4 margin.  I can even accept Hillary looking smug and spewing BS talking points about what her victory in PA meant.  What I have trouble coming to terms with is how the Obama campaign allowed the three Abercrombie and Fitch assholes on the platform last night.

These guys must have been part of an A & F marketing campaign.  I can see how it can happen, the shirts were quite different and if the guys came through in some random order, you would never have caught the pattern.  But to allow them to muscle their way into the best spot on the dais is astounding to me.  They were obviously not interested in the speech, didn’t know what they were cheering about and had many side conversations going on during the speech.

I would have loved to be in the room when the Obama team realized that they had been hoodwinked by these three jerks.  Hopefully, it was a surprise and not some ill-conceived plan to woo fashion-damaged men.

AF’s corporate HQ is in Columbus, OH, so this was likely a coup. What a bummer…

SO WHAT IF THEY WERE WEARING AN OLD NAVY SHIRT WOULD OF THAT MADE THE DIFFERANCE.
I would like to say that i am the mother of two of the boys on the stage behind Obama. And just to let you know that they are not ass holes. they were there to enjoy the music. They called me all excited to tell me they were in the front row. About 45-50 mins later they called to tell me that they were on stage right behind were he was going to be standing.
They do not support either canadate at this time. they are undesided whom they will support.
They were picked to go on stage. they didn’t go down there to cause a lot of trouble.
They are human and our country wants to get the young to vote and this happens.
I think that people are speaking out about something that they don’t even know. With the comments has put our whole famile in a really weird position.
I think if you got to know my son’s you would know that they are not the kind to cause such an up roar. they were there to have fun and to enjoy and maybe meet someone important.
I think that this is a bunch of shit and should not be happening. and to you people that are writting all of the negative things are just jelous that you weren’t there.

If they had worn Old Navy then I would have said that Old Navy had put on a guerrilla marketing campaign. If the guy over Obama’s left shoulder is your son, he should have been taught to pay attention when someone is talking. Instead, he did everything except pay attention and act appropriately.
