Obama Campaign Confirms Joint Fundraising Committee With The DNC

Obama spokesperson Bill Burton just confirmed to me that the campaign has set up a joint fundraising committee with the Democratic National Committee, a development that was first reported today by Mark Halperin.

The move is unusual in the sense that it’s typically the sort of thing that’s done once there is a nominee.

Just read the link…not so bad. However, a headline like that in a major rag, where readers don’t bother to look at the article will leave HRC’s supporters pissed off!

Obama has also started a 50 state voter registration drive! This is change!

If only we could make the fat lady sing.

Disclaimer: As a woman I deeply resent myself for stooping to weight jokes about another female, but, hey… I’m pissed.

    Jason, I’m off topic here but . . .

I just watched the Bill Moyers’ interview with Jeremiah Wright and it was everything I hoped it would be. There is no question that Rev. Wright has a beef with America and the American Government but he’s not a black supremacist or a racist.

Thanks Rebecca. I caught just a few minutes and he seemed incredibly sane.

Ditto to Rebecca & Jason….wish it was on Fox where all the folks who need to see it would.

Jason that is exactly what people need to hear and see. Without an objective opinion about these matters all kinds of racism and problems are expressed. I have never seen the nation so divded over an issue like this in my life time. And I do not think we should be. We should be coming together IF the democratic party wants to remain “the last and best hope for America.”

  7. If people on the left started hating on Bill Clinton when he gave the GOP enough juice to take half of the 2000 votes by juicing his peter with oval office cigar breaks, he has got most of the rest of us hating him now after his treatment of Mr. Obama.

The people backing Clinton now are DLC centrists and aging ladies with their own juicy issues that have nothing to do with DC politics, IMHO.
