  1. yeah, but did they keep the banner up or strategically remove it?
    I remember from the press reporting that day that the podium, cheering troops and cameras aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln was positioned carefully so that one didn’t see that the ship was actually pretty close to shore.

    And yeah, Nancy, the positioning of the banner and Bush was a ‘strategical’ strike… since both could have swum to shore.

    There are two in the set. The other is a traditional yellow ribbon that reads “Scarifice Our Troops”

    Very subversive.
